A Florida man had five pounds of marijuana and a stack of bogus driver's licenses in his vehicle when he was pulled over, police said.
Vaden Brodsky, 30, of Aventura, Fla., was stopped on Grand Avenue on Thursday morning after an officer noticed his 2003 Honda CRV had a smashed windshield and no front license plate, said police Lt. Steven Sabo.
When Officer John Holdsworth approached the vehicle, he detected "a strong odor emanating from the vehicle," he said.
In the back of the SUV, police found a garbage bag filled with marijuana, a pack of fraudulent driver's licenses and about $33,000 tightly wrapped in bundles, Sabo said. Officers also seized $2,000 from Brodsky's pocket, he said.
Brodsky was charged with possession of fraudulent documents, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute the drug and money laundering.
