The Central Bank of Russia (CBR) has revoked the licence from the Moscow-based United Regional Bank.
As the CBR External and Public Relations Department reported on Friday, the licence was revoked in connection with frequent violations of the requirements envisaged by articles 6 and 7 of the federal law on opposing the laundering of profits received by means of crime and financing of terrorism.
Simultaneously, the Central Bank appointed the temporary administration there, the economic news agency PRIME-TASS reports.
