The Central Bank of Russia revoked a banking license from Forpost JSCB CJSC, the Bank of Russia says.

The license was revoked in view of the fact Forpost had failed to observe Federal Laws and the CB banking standards and had repeatedly broken the law "On Money Laundering Abatement and Counter Terrorist Financing Act".

The Central Bank appointed provisional administration to manage the bank.

Forpost Bank was founded in 1993. Now its capital base totals above RUB 700 mln.
